Host Partnership Terms

1. Introduction

AjeboNest is Africa’s trusted stay platform, starting in Nigeria. We connect guests with verified accommodation providers while providing secure payments, trusted bookings, and dedicated support. AjeboNest is a registered Nigerian company (RC 7114529), built to make premium African hospitality effortless for travellers and rewarding for hosts.

These Commercial Terms set out the framework under which hosts and property partners list on and earn through the Platform. By listing a property on AjeboNest, you accept these terms.

2. Partnership Model

Who can become a host. Property owners, authorised managers, and registered hospitality businesses may list on AjeboNest. You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to offer the property for short-term rental.

Verification requirements. Every host completes identity verification before listings go live. This includes a government-issued ID and a selfie confirmation. Hosts of managed or multi-property portfolios may be asked for business registration documents.

Property quality standards. Listings must be accurate, clean, safe, and match their published description and photographs. Properties are reviewed before activation, and AjeboNest reserves the right to inspect or request additional media at any time.

Approval process. New listings are submitted for review and are typically approved within 48 hours. An “Inspected” badge may be applied to properties that have been physically verified by an AjeboNest representative.

3. Commission

Platform commission. AjeboNest charges a commission of 15% of the booking value per completed stay. The commission is deducted from the host’s payout and is already reflected in the nightly rate displayed to guests.

VAT. Value Added Tax (7.5%) is charged to the guest on the booking total and does not reduce the host’s payout. The commission and VAT are shown transparently as line items on every booking.

Large partners. Property managers and hotel chains with multiple listings may be eligible for negotiated commission rates. Contact us to discuss a partnership agreement.

No upfront fees. There is no charge to list, no monthly subscription, and no hidden cost. AjeboNest only earns when you earn.

4. Payouts

Timing. Payouts are processed within 24–48 hours after guest check-out, subject to successful completion of the stay and confirmation that no major dispute has been raised.

Method. Payouts are made via bank transfer to the host’s registered Nigerian bank account. International hosts should contact us to arrange an alternative.

Currency. All bookings and payouts are settled in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Currency conversion, where applicable, is handled by the host’s bank.

Statement. Each payout includes a detailed breakdown showing gross earnings, platform commission, applicable taxes, and net amount.

5. Cancellations

Guest cancellations. Guests may cancel according to the cancellation policy attached to each listing (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict). Refunds are processed automatically based on the policy in effect at the time of booking.

Host cancellations. Hosts should avoid cancelling confirmed bookings. Repeated or last-minute host cancellations may result in listing suspension and may affect payout eligibility for the affected booking.

Refund handling. Refunds are issued to the guest’s original payment method. Where a guest has already checked in, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis with AjeboNest acting as a fair mediator.

6. Host Responsibilities

Hosts are expected to maintain the standards that make AjeboNest trustworthy:

  • Keep the property calendar accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure the property matches its listing description and photographs.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and working amenities for every stay.
  • Respond to guest messages promptly — ideally within a few hours.
  • Provide a smooth check-in and be reachable during the guest’s stay.
  • Report any damage or incidents to AjeboNest support without delay.

7. AjeboNest Responsibilities

In return, AjeboNest is committed to providing:

  • Secure payment processing with payments protected until check-in.
  • Marketing and visibility across the Platform and partner channels.
  • Booking management tools, a host dashboard, and analytics.
  • Customer support from booking through to check-out.
  • A fair dispute resolution process for hosts and guests.
